Daca noi, prin propria vointa, nu am ajuns la aceasta concluzie, atunci o situatie de criza poate impune urmatorul lucru: sa realizam ca potentialul nostru poate depasi limitele impuse subiectiv, de noi insine…A venit timpul sa sapam un pic mai adanc, sa ne straduim un pic mai mult pentru a eficientiza, a obtine rezultate mai bune, a comunica, a fi mai buni si nu in ultimul rand a exista…&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Unul dintre primii pasi pentru a creste performanta este evaluarea acesteia, pentru ca dupa cum spunea H.I. Harrington: „Daca nu poti masura ceva, nu poti intelege; daca nu poti intelege, nu poti controla; daca nu poti controla, nu o vei imbunatati.”&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Insa, evaluarea isi atinge scopul definit mai sus? Este bine pusa in practica? Functioneaza cand managerul o amana de pe o zi pe alta sau cand nu se simte confortabil in postura de a evalua performantele subordonatilor? In aceste cazuri evaluarile sunt dureroase de ambele parti si nu au rezultatul asteptat. Consecinta va fi ca angajatii vor fi demotivati si vor privi evaluarea ca pe o unealta punitiva, nu ca una destinata dezvoltarii profesionale.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Nu de putine ori, faptul ca managerul nu se simte confortabil in postura de a evalua activitatea angajatilor sau ca evita sa ofere un feedback sincer, se traduce in lipsa de abilitati ale acestuia de a oferi feedback. Cel care primeste feedback, automat va avea o atitudine defensiva, mai ales daca performanta lui este sub standardele organizatiei sau sub nivelul pe care il percepe singur.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;In cazul situatiei actuale este posibil sa apara tendinta de a subevalua performantele pentru a amana beneficiile primite conform grilelor de recompensare in cazul in care cele din urma s-au pastrat. Si atunci, unde este motivarea de a ne autodepasi?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Pe langa aceste situatii, greselile de evaluare a performantei, care pot aparea, sunt:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;1.&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;    Eroarea celei mai apropiate perioade&lt;/span&gt; - apare atunci cand evaluarea se face cu o frecventa redusa (o data pe an, bianual, trimestrial etc.) si se iau in considerare activitatile cele mai recente, de obicei ultimele doua luni dinaintea evaluarii. Tocmai de aceea o evidenta personala a angajatului privind activitatea lui si feedback-ul de 360 de grade sunt instrumente care se folosesc pentru a inlatura astfel de erori.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;2.    &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Eroarea de contrast / similitudine&lt;/span&gt; – apare daca managerul are tendinta de a-si aprecia angajatii, folosind ca etalon de evaluare propria persoana. In cazul celor care performeaza mai slab, posibil sa fie subevaluati constant, chiar daca acestia fac progrese.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;3.    &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Efectul de halo in evaluare&lt;/span&gt; - consta in aprecierea angajatului, prin prisma unei singure insusiri sau prin prisma unor rezultate pozitive sau negative anterioare evaluarii. Rezultatul va consta in faptul ca angajatului respectiv i se va acorda aproape constant acelasi calificativ.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;4.    &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Prima impresie, preferintele personale, prejudecatile&lt;/span&gt; – de obicei managerul, va cauta sa isi confirme propriile asteptari fie ele pozitive, fie ele negative.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Scopul evaluarii este ca prim pas, de a transforma incompetenta inconstienta in incompetenta constienta. Sa se constientizeze ca sunt necesare imbunatatiri. Si ulterior sa se realizeze un plan de actiuni care sa dezvolte competente. Un alt pas este de a trece de la competeta inconstienta la competenta constienta.
